VFuels LLC Secures FEED Contract for New 5,000 bpd Modular Refinery in Nigeria
VFuels LLC, a leader in modular energy and infrastructure solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) package by a Nigerian operator for the development of a 5,000 barrels per day (bpd) modular refinery in Nigeria.
The refinery, which will have provisions for future expansion to 10,000 bpd, will be equipped with a Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) and will be designed to produce key petroleum products, including naphtha, kerosene, diesel, and heavy fuel oil (HFO).
The FEED project is expected to be completed over a 3-month period and will play a crucial role in supporting Nigeria’s local refining capacity, addressing the nation’s demand for refined products, and reducing dependency on fuel imports.
“We are excited to bring our modular refinery expertise to yet another important project in Nigeria, which will contribute significantly to the country’s energy security and economic development,” said Emmanuel Alaike from VFuels’ Projects & Engineering Africa office. “Our design will enable quick implementation while ensuring scalability for future expansion.”
The project reinforces VFuels' commitment to providing innovative, efficient, and scalable energy solutions across Africa and marks the third FEED package awarded to VFuels in Nigeria this year.
